Kevin Thomas - Tax Director

Having been a part of the Bird Luckin team since 1984, Director Kevin Thomas, who heads the firm's Business Tax group, has worked with a wide variety of clients from a range of business sectors.

As a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, Kevin knows that his own wealth of experience, together with the experience and expertise of the Bird Luckin team, is essential in helping clients to maximise the potential of their businesses.

"By working closely with our clients, and drawing on the expertise and experience we have throughout the team, we are able to find the best business solutions for clients - not just on taxation and compliance matters, but on a broad range of business issues," said Kevin.

"The ability to provide ad hoc, value added services for clients depends upon us having a good knowledge and understanding of our clients and their businesses; that knowledge and understanding can only be developed by ensuring a personal approach to the service we provide."

Having spent many years working within the Brentwood business community, Kevin moved to the Rayleigh office following Bird Luckin's amalgamation with Adkins Gorham Richardson Ltd in 2000. In September 2004 that office merged with the Chelmsford office of Bird Luckin in order to enhance the services available to all clients.

"The move to Chelmsford has brought additional expertise into the Bird Luckin team, particularly in the area of financial services, with a number of members of the Rayleigh office having many years experience within the financial services sector, and as Independent Financial Advisors," added Kevin.

Outside of work Kevin, who is married with two children, is a keen runner, having completed both the New York and London marathons; and has also undertaken training courses in brick laying and garden design as part of his other great passion, home improvement.
