Teri Olley - Tax Consultant
Teri is a Chartered Tax Adviser with more than 20 years experience, working for Big 4 and other Top 10 firms as well as spending several years in industry before joining Bird Luckin as a senior tax consultant in 2006.
Teri is the firm’s property specialist and has extensive experience and expertise in all areas of property tax, capital allowances, SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax) and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme).
Other areas of specialism include Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and trust tax planning. Teri also works closely with Peter Warren in providing tax advice and planning initiatives for the firm’s high net worth personal tax clients.
Teri believes that “as tax advisers, Bird Luckin is ideally placed to offer an exceptional service to clients. The level of expertise and experience within the tax consulting team is on a par with what I would expect to find in a much larger firm. Away from the office, Teri is an accomplished musician, competitive golfer and member of the Essex Advanced Motorcyclists Group: “I’m naturally an outdoor person, so when I’m not at work I can usually be found somewhere on Thorndon Park golf course or enjoying the open countryside on two wheels.”
