2012 Essex Business Excellence Awards
|
The search is on again for the best of the county’s businesses following the launch meeting on Wednesday 18 January of the 2012 Essex Business Excellence Awards, for which Bird Luckin continues to be a major sponsor. The awards, coordinated by the Essex Chronicle Series, look to recognise outstanding business performance across Essex in a range of areas, from innovation and excellence in marketing to training programmes, community commitment and best growing business. Bird Luckin has been involved with the Essex Business Excellence Awards for many years, having sponsored the Customer Care and Service category since the Awards were first launched; 2012 also marks a milestone in our support for the event, as it is the tenth year that we have been joint overall sponsor. Once again our team of judges – Jenny Cook, Janis Osborne and Caroline Peters – will be closely involved with sifting through the entries, organising site visits, and selecting the finalists and eventual winners, and Jenny believes it’s another ideal opportunity to celebrate the county’s enterprising spirit and achievements. “Despite there still being understandable concerns about the state of the economy, there was a real buzz and a strong sense of optimism at the launch of the 2012 Essex Business Excellence Awards,” said Jenny. “We’ve got new sponsors and judges involved, including Handelsbanken and the overall winner of last year’s Awards, Richard Triolo of Systematic Logistics International Ltd.“Every year we’re impressed by the standard of the competition, and I know this year is going to be no exception. But it would be great to have even more businesses entering the Awards; it’s a fantastic marketing opportunity, it gives you a huge amount of exposure, and it’s also a great chance to get some recognition for the hard work and achievements of you and your teams,” added Jenny. To find out more about how you can enter the Awards and the categories in this year’s event contact Jenny Cook on jennycook@bird-luckin.co.uk or telephone 01245 254241. |
