Alan is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, he joined Bird Luckin in 1990.
As a senior tax consultant, Alan has a broad knowledge on a wide range of business taxation issues having extensive experience in corporation tax, capital gains tax and inheritance tax, Alan is well placed to advise on transactions such as buying and selling businesses, corporate reorganisations and demergers. Alan's far-reaching experience enables him to advise on farming tax issues, employee share schemes, business and share valuations and cross-border transactions.
Having worked within larger firms, Alan is clear that in some cases the small companies and clients can easily be forgotten, to offer a high level of personal service and accessibility to a range of services are of key importance.
