Janis Osborne

As a Director at Bird Luckin's Chelmsford office, Janis Osborne believes that the firm's personal approach to building long term relationships with clients is essential in meeting those clients' needs.
Having joined the firm in 1987, becoming a Partner in 1999, Janis has built up a strong portfolio of small and medium sized businesses, many of which are family owned and run, including a number of clients from the farming community.
"Advising on business and tax matters is not always clear-cut - it needs tailoring to the client's personal circumstances and aspirations to arrive at what's right for the client. For many of my clients it is therefore essential that they are able to talk to me directly, but also with the knowledge that I can call upon appropriate specialists within the Bird Luckin Team to provide the right advice," said Janis.
"The fact that we are a 'one-stop shop', that we can help our clients with almost anything, helps us to build those long term relationships, and to provide the best level of customer service."
In addition to looking after her clients, Janis is involved in the management of Bird Luckin as the Director responsible for the firm's overall staffing matters. Working with a team of about 90 people, Janis has gained a valuable insight into some of the employment issues that her own clients may face.
"My role within Bird Luckin has given me a good understanding of some of the potentially difficult issues faced by clients in relation to employment," said Janis.
