Tax Consultant
Teri is a Chartered Tax Adviser of more than 20 years standing, plus a qualified Trust & Estate Practitioner. Teri joined Bird Luckin as a senior tax consultant in 2006, having previously worked for some of the largest accountancy firms and also in industry.
Teri works mainly on the private client side, bringing together her areas of specialism to provide tax planning advice for high net worth individuals, partnerships and other family businesses.
Teri's specialist areas are property tax, including SDLT (Stamp Duty Land Tax), capital allowances and CIS (Construction Industry Scheme); Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax and trust tax planning.
Away from the office, Teri is an accomplished musician, competitive golfer and member of the Essex Advanced Motorcyclists Group: “I’m naturally an outdoor person, so when I’m not at work I can usually be found somewhere on Thorndon Park golf course or enjoying the open countryside on two wheels.”
